If you need small changes after launch, Website Care is $50/month. You send what needs changed and I handle it. You're paying for an actual person to make the changes, not for access to software.
It's probably not the right fit if:
You want to edit the website yourself.
My sites don't come with a drag-and-drop editor. If you want to log in and change pages yourself whenever you like, Wix or Squarespace is probably a better fit. With me, you text or email what needs changing, and a real person handles it.
Need an online store? Use Shopify.
I don't build online stores. If you need product listings, checkout, inventory, or shipping, Shopify is the better tool. I'd rather point you there than sell you something that isn't a good fit.

What you still pay for
You'll still pay for your domain name, usually around $10–$30 per year. You own it and pay the registrar directly — that fee doesn't go to me.

How does the free mockup work? What's the catch?
No catch. You send me a few details about your business and I build a mockup of your new homepage for free. If you like it, we build the full site. If you don't, you owe me nothing and you never hear from me again.
When do I pay?
After you approve the finished site. Not before. You see the mockup free, you watch the full site come together, and you pay the $500 when you're happy with what you see. If we get to the end and you don't want it, you don't pay for it.
What do you need from me?
Your business info, your photos, and your feedback. That's it. If your job photos are rough or you don't have many, I'll work with what you've got and fill the gaps so the site still looks sharp.
Is it really $0/month after launch?
$0/month means there is no required monthly payment to BetterLocalSites. Hosting is included and your site stays online. You'll still pay for your domain, usually around $10–$30 per year, directly to your registrar. You own it, and that fee doesn't go to me. Website Care is optional.
Can I make changes to the website myself?
Not through a Wix or Squarespace-style drag-and-drop editor. These websites are meant for businesses that either rarely need changes or would rather have someone else handle them. Your build includes 30 days of small updates after launch, and Website Care is available afterward if you want ongoing changes handled for you. If being able to edit the site yourself is important, Wix or Squarespace may be a better fit.
What does Website Care include?
Website Care is $50/month and optional. You send the changes and an actual person makes them. It covers minor text, photo, contact, service, and content updates, monitoring for obvious issues, and help if something stops working. Major redesigns, substantial new pages, and custom features or integrations are quoted separately.
Why wouldn't I just use Wix or Squarespace?
They may be the better option if you want to personally edit and manage the website. Both charge an ongoing monthly or annual fee, and you generally make the changes yourself. BetterLocalSites is for businesses that would rather have the website built and managed for them.
Do you build ecommerce websites?
No. If you need product catalogs, checkout, inventory, order management, or shipping, Shopify is probably the better choice. It's built for exactly that, and I'd rather point you toward the right tool than sell you something that isn't a good fit.
Who owns the website and my domain?
You do. Your domain is registered in your own account. Domain registration is usually around $10–$30 per year and is paid directly to your registrar. BetterLocalSites never collects or marks up that fee. I can help you register a new domain or connect one you already have.
Do you only work with businesses near Greensburg?
I work with contractors anywhere, but most of my clients are in Westmoreland County and Western PA. Local means I know your market and your customers, and we can meet face to face if you want.
